Sean Fanning (aka Napster on WoW/Archimonde back in the day), who created napster and all that jazz, just sold his company Rupture to EA for $30 mil.

From what I know, 99% of the founders of the company are WoW players, and my former guildmate Tivoli works for them

Congrats to all the kids for bringing in some actual cash! Too bad Rupture will now be ruined as is everything by EA, but what can ya do.

(For those of you who aren't hip to Rupture, it is a 3rd party client that hooks into whatever game you're playing and tracks achievements/accomplishments/events in the game. I'm guessing with the EA acquisition, their software will be built seamlessly into future EA titles so you don't have to download anything).
