So it’s been almost 2 days since I went and saw FRAG, but it took me until now to get my impressions up. First off I was surprised by the attendance numbers of the film. I would guess 75-100 people were there, and only about 1/4 of them were really what I could tell were "traditional" fans versus random movie goers. Conversation overhead before the movie:"What's in all those boxes down there?""Probably free swag.""What???""Free swag""What?""Free t-shirts and stuff""You kids got to stop throwing all these newfangled words around" The movie ended up starting over 20 minutes late, but overall the movie was worth it. Going in I was expecting at best a weird, kind of crappy quality sundance-esque documentary. The overall quality was much higher and on the scale of something that might run on Discovery channel, and overall well put together. They had one of the best basic e-sports explanations I have personally seen in explaining the basic concept of the sport. The movie focuses mostly on the PC community, with the two main characters that got the attention being Fatality (duh) and Lost Cauze. Many other well know personalities are interviewed, but as far as story, they were the only ones who got a large amount of focus. Fatality was presented as the wonder boy pro gamer that we know as the public face of e-sports. Most of the story on him was pretty familiar to anyone who has followed e-sports to any goo extent. The more interesting story was that of Lost Cauze. It details the struggle that he had with his father over games, and the way he made himself homeless just to pursue his dream. As only hearing his story briefly in chunks previously, it was interesting to see his complete story. Other points that the movie touched on*GH- Sephi gets a pretty decent chunk of coverage when the movie delves into the newer e-sports, and also included some great lines from Gene Simmons

*The CGS comes up briefly in the publicity deal with fatality and the advancement of league quality *The drug and alcohol issue is brought up, both in just general partying and as using drugs as performance enhancers *The problem with leagues not paying out cash, teams exploiting players, and general league corruptness is brought up, with the CPL as the poster boy *The CPL gets hit pretty hard, with Angel Munoz receiving a beating from Carmac and the community at large for his general deception and shady practices and Slasher's accurate description of Munoz as "a rich mother-******". And if he is the same Angel Munoz that owns
