The Nintendo Switch version of Aliens: Fireteam Elite has been completely removed from sale and rendered totally unplayable, even for players who already paid up to $60 for it. The Switch release was a cloud-based version of the game, meaning it was streamed from remote servers rather than running natively on the hardware. With those cloud servers now shut down, owners have lost access to every part of the game, including its single-player mode, with no local copy to fall back on.
