Until Dawn 2 Confirmed for January 28, 2027, Co-Developed by AdHoc Studio

Sony's September 2026 State of Play brought one of the showcase's biggest announcements: Until Dawn 2 has an official release date of January 28, 2027, exclusively for PS5. The new trailer offered a fresh look at the game's character dynamics and so-called "unwinnable scenarios," while also teasing a return to the original's iconic setting. It marks the first proper sequel to the beloved 2015 horror title, setting it apart from the various spiritual successors that Supermassive Games has released in the years since.

Dispatch Finally Releases on Xbox After Platform Journey

Dispatch, the superhero workplace comedy from AdHoc Studio, is finally making its way to Xbox Series X on July 29, completing a lengthy platform rollout that began nearly a year ago. The game, developed by former Telltale developers, originally launched on PlayStation 5 and PC in October 2025, then expanded to additional platforms before Xbox players were left waiting. That wait is now officially over, with AdHoc Studio confirming the Xbox release date alongside news that the version will include uncensored scenes.

Sovereign Tower is the medieval management RPG that Dispatch fans have been waiting for

Sovereign Tower, the debut medieval management RPG from Wild Wits Games, has been turning heads since its Steam demo launched earlier this year, and for good reason. The game casts you as a wandering leper who unexpectedly becomes the "True Sovereign" after opening an ancient tower everyone else thought permanently sealed. From there, you inherit a crumbling realm and a roster of colourful knights, managing their strengths, dispatching them on quests, romancing statues, rewinding time with demonic assistance, and somehow keeping a kingdom from falling apart. The result is a game that draws inevitable comparisons to the superhero management sim Dispatch, though its medieval setting, sharp writing, and deeply personal knight relationships give it a distinct identity of its own.
