The announcement trailer showcased a bold new direction for the beloved pink puffball, marking only the second fully 3D Kirby platformer in the franchise's history after 2022's Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This time, however, the scope appears dramatically larger, with Kirby exploring a sprawling open world rather than the more linear stages of its predecessor.
