Marvel Rivals Season 9 Reworks Black Widow and Overhauled Team-Ups

Marvel Rivals Season 9 has arrived with some of the most sweeping balance changes the game has seen since launch, and two updates in particular are turning heads. Black Widow, long considered one of the weakest characters in the roster, has received a full rework that transforms her from an underperforming sniper into a nimble flanker and burst damage dealer. The redesign draws directly from her portrayal in Marvel comics, repositioning her as a close-to-mid-range threat rather than a passive backline shooter. After roughly two years of sitting near the bottom of tier lists, the former spy is now being praised as one of the game's strongest picks.
