Capcom Aims for Monster Hunter Wilds to Outsell World with Demos, Expansions, and Price Cuts
Monster Hunter Wilds launched to considerable fanfare, but its sales trajectory has not yet matched the runaway success of its predecessor, Monster Hunter World. According to Capcom's latest financial report, the title did not rank among the company's quarterly best sellers, a notable absence that signals the game has struggled to maintain the kind of momentum Capcom had hoped for following its release. Despite this, Capcom remains firmly committed to the title, publicly stating its goal for Wilds to surpass World's lifetime sales "over the medium to long term."
