Project Zomboid Build 42 Smashes Steam Record After 19-Month Wait

Project Zomboid has hit a brand-new concurrent player record on Steam following the release of its long-awaited Build 42 update, which arrived after a 19-month wait. The massive update brings reworked towns, a spooky orphanage, and around 400 procedurally generated basements to the beloved zombie survival sim, giving both returning veterans and curious newcomers plenty of reasons to dive back in. The game also received a price increase alongside the update.
