AC Black Flag Resynced Gets Weather Fix, Boss Hints, and New Game Plus Promise

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is receiving a wave of updates and improvements as Ubisoft continues to support the remake post-launch. A new patch addresses one of players' most-complained-about issues: the game's notoriously gloomy weather system. The fix promises more "sun and clear skies" across the open seas, and the patch also introduces helpful hints for a notorious boss fight that had been tripping up a significant portion of the player base.

Beyond the patch, Ubisoft has been candid with fans about the game's current limitations and its roadmap going forward. The development team acknowledged that not all of the original Black Flag's combat mechanics made it into Resynced, citing scope constraints during development. However, the studio says it is "interested in what people want" brought back, leaving the door open for future updates to restore fan-favorite moves, including potentially an updated hidden blade. Most notably, the game's director has confirmed that a New Game Plus mode is actively in development, noting that the feature is considered "low-risk" partly because Assassin's Creed Shadows already built its own version that the team can reference.
