Xbox Reveals 3D-Moulded Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition Controllers

Microsoft has unveiled a pair of highly detailed Limited Edition Xbox controllers themed around Gears of War: E-Day, and they look every bit as gruff and battle-worn as the franchise's iconic aesthetic demands. The controllers feature striking 3D-moulded designs, bringing the gritty Gears universe to life in physical form in a way that goes well beyond a simple paint job. Both controllers are set to launch on September 30, timed to coincide with the game's October 2026 release window.

Alongside the limited edition hardware, Xbox is also rolling out new Gears of War: E-Day themed options for its Design Lab customisation service, giving players an additional way to personalise their controllers with E-Day imagery. Preorders for the limited edition controllers are already live, so fans eager to get their hands on the premium hardware won't have to wait long to secure one ahead of launch.
