Pokémon 30th Anniversary TCG Misprints Are Creating Accidental Rarities

The Pokémon Company launched its 30th anniversary trading card set with the explicit goal of solving persistent stock shortages that have frustrated collectors for years. The plan was straightforward: flood the market with enough supply to keep shelves stocked and prices reasonable. Instead, the set has inadvertently created a new class of coveted rarity, as a wave of misprinted cards, most notably a bizarre Mew variant that collectors have dubbed "Blood Mew," has sent collectors into a frenzy and resellers scrambling to cash in.
