Rogue Point Hits v1.0, Exits Steam Early Access with New Map, Boss, and Mod Support

Aug 5, 20263 sources0 comments

Crowbar Collective and Team17 have launched the v1.0 version of four-player co-op tactical shooter Rogue Point, bringing the game out of Steam Early Access on August 4, 2026. The full release adds a fifth map called The Clinic, filled with confining corridors, three new weapons (the Mule small shotgun, KT50 semi-automatic carbine, and A1M semi-automatic marksman rifle), new cosmetics, and a new MERX boss named the Oil Rig, a flame-throwing adversary designed to keep players constantly moving.

Perhaps the most notable addition for the game's long-term health is the introduction of mod support. Players can now build custom maps and campaigns using Unreal Editor, then upload them directly to the Steam Workshop. Mods are automatically downloaded by anyone joining a modded host's session. The feature is a fitting nod to Crowbar Collective's roots as the volunteer team behind Black Mesa, the community-built remake of Valve's original Half-Life, and marks Rogue Point as the studio's first original IP as a full-time studio.
