Scribblenauts Creators Announce Broke Wizards, a 1–6 Player Co-op Party Game

Jul 23, 20262 sources0 comments

The studio behind Scribblenauts has revealed Broke Wizards, a new 1-6 player cooperative party game now listed on Steam. Players take on the roles of wizard roommates who must complete a wild variety of jobs, from slaying monsters and racing magical ravens to playing a snake-clone mobile game called Slitherin', all to pay rent to a giant Imp Landlord before he eats them. The game supports both cooperative and competitive play, with modes including prop hunt, a player arena for PvP, and assorted mini-games for when players just want to slack off together.

Between jobs, players can customize their wizards with hoodies, hats, wings, and magic boards, and even hatch Pocketdragon eggs for companion buddies. A progression system ties everything together through collectible Magic Keys, earned by exploring, completing puzzles, and paying rent. Gather enough keys to unlock the treasure chest holding your deed and finally free yourself from your Imp Landlord for good. No release date has been announced, but the game is available to wishlist on Steam now.
