Lord of the Rings: War in the North Shadow Drops as Legacy Edition, More Remasters Teased

Out of nowhere on Tuesday, Aspyr Media announced and immediately released The Lord of the Rings: War in the North Legacy Edition across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The 2011 co-op action RPG, originally developed by Snowblind Studios, had been delisted from Steam back in early 2019, leaving fans with little hope of ever seeing it return to modern platforms. The shadow drop marks the game's first availability in over seven years, bringing it to a new generation of hardware roughly 15 years after its original debut.
